UPDATE: Missing Local Senior Located Safe

Charles Mastrandrea has been missing since Wednesday afternoon.

Update 6:15 p.m.: Police confirmed at shortly after 6 p.m. Thursday that Mastrandrea had been found in good condition and reunited with his family.

Police in the neighboring 104 Precinct have issued a Silver Alert, as a local senior citizen has been missing for more than 24 hours.

Charles Mastrandrea, an 87-year-old man who lives on 62nd Street, has been missing since roughly 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon.

He was last seen leaving a location on 66th Street in a 1994 green Pontiac Bonneville, license plate number 3RW948.

He is described as an elderly white man, weighing roughly 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, blue baseball cap, blue pants and a watch with a camel leather band.

Anyone with any information on Mastrandrea’s whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at at 800-577-TIPS.
