If you are not tuned in to Musica Reginae, you are missing some of the finest musical performances around. Jan.25 at Church-in-the-Gardens, PubliQuartet dazzled the audience with modern "classical" music. Their virtuosity did great justice to the genius of Ligeti, and brought deserved exposure to the new talent of living composers (two of whom, Kenty, and Soldier, were in attendance). At the reception afterwards, these four bright young musicians proved to be as intelligent and charming as they are talented. It was an extraordinary event that reminds you that living in New York is a major advantage if you love the arts. These four musicians were delightful and brilliant. Find them. Follow them. Support them. Your heart willopen and listen, and your ears will dance with joy. Musica Reginae is a jewel. Thank you, Barabara Podgurski.
