The Forest Park Carousel
On Thursday, the Parks Department invited a group of local students to take the first official ride on the carousel,
"We wouldn't be standing here if not for the voices of the community that spoke out," said state Sen. Joe Addabbo. "I'm so pleased that we don't have to just talk about a carousel here anymore, we can actually ride a carousel."
