Baby killed in bus accident

Driver Distraction happens in a blink of an eye -- the end result - death.

A baby girl was killed when a bus driver lost control of his vehicle while allegedly using a cell phone in Hudson County on Tuesday.

The victim's mother was walking down Boulevard East in West New York with her daughter and dog when a jitney bus driven rode up onto the sidewalk, smashing into a lamppost, which fell on top of infants stroller nearly striking the mother.

The bus than drove into another lamppost, a traffic light, a tree and four parked cars. Distrcated Drivers are irresponsible and in a split second, its consequences can be devastating.
