Barclays Shooting Victim Recovering, Suspect Still On The Loose, Officials Say
The man who shot Elijah Ingram in the ankle near the Barclays Center has yet to be caught, officials said.

FORT GREENE, BROOKLYN — The man who was shot near the Barclays Center on Wednesday is recovering at Methodist Hospital but his attacker has yet to be caught, said Councilwoman Laurie A. Cumbo in a statement.
Elijah Ingram, 50, was shot in the ankle on the corner of Atlantic and Flatbush avenues around 2:10 p.m. Wednesday, said police and Councilwoman Cumbo.
Ingram was rushed to Methodist Hospital where was listed in stable condition on Thursday, Cumbo said.

"I'm relieved that Mr. Ingram's injuries are not life-threatening,” said Cumbo. “I'd also like to thank the NYPD for their immediate response to ensure public safety.”
Police said Thursday afternoon that were still hunting for the suspect, who was caught on camera firing his gun on the busy Brooklyn intersection where Flatbush and Atlantic avenues converge.

Police describe the suspect as a thin man last seen wearing a blue baseball hat, a black shirt, and dark colored pants with a white stripe down the side.
