Body Found In Water Near Brooklyn Navy Yard: Cops
Police found a dead man's body in the water near Nassau Street on Tuesday, police said.

FORT GREENE, BROOKLYN — A dead man's body was found in the water near the Brooklyn Navy Yard on Tuesday, police said.
Officers were called around 1:40 p.m. to the report of a body floating in the water near 240 Nassau Street, police said. The NYPD's Harbor Unit took the man's body out of the water and took him to the Brooklyn Navy Yard's Pier C, where emergency responders pronounced him dead.
Police did not yet release the name of the man and said the investigation is ongoing.
