Brooklyn-Based Fashionista Monique Glover Makes TV Debut

Check out the Season Finale of TNT's "On The Menu"

New York City, December 5, 2014. For Monique Glover, a veteran fashion designer with 14 years of experience, being on TNT’s hit cooking competition show “On The Menu,” hosted by Emeril Lagasse and Ty Pennington, is just one more way to share her creativity with the world.

As a designer working with emerging women’s wear brand Nightwalker Co. and as the CEO and lead designer of ZYEM LLC, Glover has made this the core of her personal mission: Inspire others to embrace and express their bold, artistic style.

“My unique point of view has emerged from studying art, observing New York City’s pop culture, and traveling to Europe, Hong Kong and India,” says Glover. For the Brooklyn native and mother of a young son who inspired her company’s name, it is a total lifestyle approach she’s committed to fully.

"I want to be that mom who has a career, but also has time to be attentive to other things mothers have to deal with, like coming up with healthy and quick food options for my son," Glover says.

When Glover, a graduate of Lauardia High School of Music & Performing Arts and Pratt Institute, got the chance to appear on "On The Menu", it was perfect timing. Her latest ventures, moglovernewyork, merges fashion, food and fun online. For Glover it's all part of a march towards excellence--one which she hopes will inspire others.
