American Fine Craft Show
What: A selection of handmade works in ceramics, jewelry, glass, furniture, wood, metal, mixed media, wearable and decorative fiber by 90 American craft artists will be on display at the Brooklyn Museum's Beaux-Arts Court.

2017 Open Studios
Neighborhood: Park Slope and Windsor Terrace
What: A collective of visual artists living and working in Park Slope and Windsor Terrace will open their doors for the fifth annual Open Studio weekend.

SkyIce's Second Annual "Brain Freeze" Ice Cream-Eating Contest
What: Ice cream lovers will compete to see who can wolf down a pint of tea-flavored ice cream first. Last year's winner, Patrick Garcia downed his pint in 2 minutes and 20 seconds. He'll be competing again this year.

La Traviata
What: The Regina Opera Company presents the Giuseppe Verdi opera, based on the play "La Dame aux Camélias" by Alexandre Dumas.

The Brooklyn Marathon
What: Cheer on the borough's best long distance runners at the seventh annual Brooklyn marathon. The runners will loop the park again, and again, and again. And again.

What: Check out a monthly pop-up market where a slew of local vegan vendors show off their wares.

Our Damn Selves Market: A Benefit for Planned Parenthood
What: Dusty Rose presents its fundraising marketplace where 30 independent businesses will sell their goods with ticket proceeds going to Planned Parenthood of NYC. The $3 ticket buys entry and a raffle ticket.
