Montague Street businesses are taking their expertise outside this Sunday for “Montague Knows,” an&nbsp; afternoon of free live demos, mini workshops, and sidewalk sessions as part of Montague Open Streets.
From gardening and golf tips to yoga stretches, skincare advice, salad making secrets, and container gardening, local businesses will host short, casual sessions throughout the day designed to give neighbors something useful they can actually take home with them.
The event takes place Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. on Montague Street between Clinton and Hicks Streets in Brooklyn Heights.
Among the scheduled sessions:
<ul><li>L’Appartement 4F will demonstrate how to recreate its popular Red Little Gem and Snap Pea Salad at home.</li><li>James Weir Floral will share easy container gardening ideas for terraces, stoops, backyards, and windowsills.Golf v.2 will offer quick swing tips and instruction for all skill levels.</li><li>GTHR Yoga will lead two sessions focused on relieving neck and shoulder tension with stretches and breathing techniques designed for everyday life.</li><li>Dr. Lisa Black of Creative Dentistry will share simple dental care tips for brighter teeth and fresher breath between dentist visits.</li><li>Orangetheory Fitness will host a live rowing session with coaching on form and technique.</li><li>Bessie Nails will demonstrate how to apply press-on nails that last while protecting natural nails.</li></ul>
Throughout the afternoon, City Chemist and FREEZE 24/7 will host skincare demos and complimentary mocktails, while McNeil Tours leads guided walking tours through Brooklyn Heights and the Promenade. Additional sidewalk activations, shopping pop ups, art activities for kids, and community tables will be set up along the street all day.
