Prospect To Host Butchering Class

Just in time for Halloween, Prospect - a Modern New-American restaurant and bar located in Brooklyn's Fort Greene - will be hosting a cooking class series, kicking off Monday, October 29th with a butchery class. Chef Kyle McClelland will instruct how to break down select meat and fish; highlights include a 70lb tuna and whole pig. Class includes carefully selected wine pairings.

The class will be held on Monday, November 5th, at 7:00pm and is open to 8 people per class. The series will be hosted select Mondays, which will continue through December. The series will continue with fresh pasta making, fall fruit and vegetable pickling, basic and advanced bread baking, and more (price varies per course).

Prospect recently opened on September 28th and is located near the new Barclays Center, at 773 Fulton Street. To book this class or for further class inquiries, please call (718) 596-6826.


Further to note, all class attendees will receive a 10% discount towards their next dining visit to Prospect (excludes weekend nights).


Class Cancellation Policy: Class reservations are date specific. If cancellation is made at least 3 days before the class, we will honor a full credit for the full value of the class. If you cancel less than 3 days (72 hours) before the class we will not be able to offer a full refund. If you are registering a group of two or more people for a class, a one (1) week notice is required for cancellation.  All cancellations must be confirmed with a general manager of Prospect via phone:  (718) 596-6826.
