The meeting’s agenda includes a keynote address from Deputy Brooklyn Borough President Sandra Chapman; a management report from Brooklyn Hospital Center president and CEO Richard B. Becker, MD; opening and closing remarks from CAB Chair Rev. Earl Jones; and election of officers.
The meeting will also feature a presentation Health Care in Our Community: Access and Affordability by Joseph Guarracino, CFO; Bernadette Selby, Assistant VP of Finance, Patient Accounting and Patient Access; and Egondu M. Onuoha, Director of the Woman Infant and Children (WIC) Program.
The public is invited to attend the meeting to learn about health care in the community. Members of TBHC’s CAB cultivate and maintain relationships with community leaders, local organizations and civic groups to strengthen the hospitals links with the community; assist the hospital’s administration in its community outreach efforts; and monitor TBHC’s patient satisfaction process to ensure that issues are addressed and resolved.
