‘HEALTH BUCKS’ PROGRAM Gives Consumers Extra Spending Power at ALBEE SQUARE FARMER’S MARKET
The Albee Square Farmer’s Market is back in business after a hiatus for 4th of July Holiday weekend and will be open from 11:00A-4:00P on Friday, July 11, 2014.
We are proud to announce that we are enthusiastic participants in the Farmer’s Market Health Bucks Program. For every $5.00 customers spends using a SNAP EBT card, they will receive a $2.00 voucher which can be used to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables, extending their buying power by a whopping 40%.
Our vendor line-up will include our regulars: Sarah & Nancy’s Farm; Meredith’s Bread and Nevin’s Home Farm. Offering unique craft items will be LITTLE TIBET and BONJUK JEWELRY, whose handcrafted rings, bracelets, necklaces and earrings are imported from Turkey.
