Man Found Dead In Clinton Avenue Apartment: Cops

FORT GREENE, BROOKLYN — Police found a 49-year-old man dead in an apartment hallway after a 911 call to Clinton Avenue #1A on Friday.

Police said they were called to the apartment around 9:40 a.m. and found the man, unconscious and unresponsive, laying face up on the hallway floor. He had trauma to his head and face, police said.

EMS responded and pronounced the man dead at the scene.

The medical examiner will determine the cause of death, police said. The name of the man was not released pending notification to his family.
