MCU's 4 Brooklyn Branches to Serve As Collection Sites for Toys For Tots and City Harvest Food Drive Campaigns
Brooklyn residents are encouraged to drop off unwrapped toys and canned food at any MCU branch, including MCU's 4 Brooklyn branches

Municipal Credit Union (MCU) announced that it will participate in two charitable initiatives this holiday season – City Harvest’s Daily News Food Drive and the Salvation Army Toys for Tots toy collection. These goodwill partnerships are part of MCU’s ongoing corporate commitment to give back to the communities in which it serves.
MCU branches will serve as drop-off and collection sites for both of these programs. To support City Harvest’s holiday effort, MCU branches will accept monetary donations and nonperishable goods beginning today through January 16, 2015. MCU will encourage its members, as well as community members, to help them help City Harvest reach its citywide goal of collecting more than one million pounds of food this holiday season.
MCU branches will also be drop-off sites for the season’s Toys for Tots campaign. New, unwrapped toys and games can be dropped off at any MCU branch between November 10 and December 14.

“Our goal is simple: to help those in our communities who are in need,” said MCU Chairman of the Board Mark S. Brantley, Esq. “We strive to adhere to the Credit Union philosophy of ‘people helping people,’ and the opportunity to help people in our community through charitable efforts is just one of the key ways we can put this philosophy into action. We are confident that our membership, and the New York community as a whole, will join us this holiday season to give back to those in need.”
