WATCH: Thieves Robbing Greene Ave Market Take Empty Cash Register
Police are looking for a man who robbed the Greene Avenue Market early Sunday morning and another who stood as lookout.

FORT GREENE, BROOKLYN — Police are searching for two men who teamed up to rob the Greene Avenue Market early Sunday morning.
Just before 4 a.m. a man caught on surveillance cameras broke into the 17 Greene Avenue market using a screwdriver. The man took the market's cash register as another man stood lookout outside, police said.
But the thieves didn't find themselves with much of a prize, police said — the cash register was empty.

The door of the market was damaged, though, by the man using a screwdriver to break in. Both fled from the store in an unknown direction.
Police describe one of the men as being in his 50s with a salt and pepper beard, last seen wearing a blue zippered hoodie, black hat with gray trim, blue jeans and blue sneakers.
