Armed Man Robs Nassau Gas Station
BREAKING: He emptied the register and stole cigarettes, as well as taking the clerk's phone and cash.

An armed man robbed a gas station in Freeport early Saturday morning.
First Squad detectives are investigating a Robbery that occurred on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 6:30 am in Freeport.
According to detectives, a 65-year-old clerk, who had just opened the doors to US Petroleum gas station, located at 199 East Sunrise Highway, was confronted by a man with a large black handgun. The robber demanded that the register be opened and removed an undisclosed amount of cash. The man also stole cartons of cigarettes and lottery scratch-off tickets, as well as the clerk’s cell phone and money from his wallet.
The robber is described as a black man wearing a waist-length jacket and a ski mask covering his face. He was last seen fleeing on foot westbound on Sunrise Highway.
