Arrest For Stealing Multiple Vehicles From South Shore Car Dealer: Cops
Andrew Ponton was charged with burglary for crimes that took place in October and November of last year, police said.

FREEPORT, NY — A man is under arrest for multiple grand larcenies last year in Freeport, police said.
Andrew Ponton, of Queens, was initially arrested by the NYPD on Monday for a grand larceny. He was then booked by detectives in Nassau County, police said.
Ponton is accused of entering the Carmart Auto Group lot on Oct. 14, 2022 and removing a 2017 Ford Explorer, authorities said. He returned to the location on Nov. 2 and stole a 2018 Dodge Durango and a 2018 Toyota RAV 4.

Ponton is charged with two counts of third-degree burglary, multiple counts of third-degree grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property. He was expected to be arraigned on Wednesday.
