Body Found Floating In Freeport Marina: Nassau County Police
The body of an adult man was discovered on Friday morning, police said.
FREEPORT, NY — A body was discovered floating in Jeffstar Marina on Friday morning, prompting an investigation by Nassau County authorities.
According to the Nassau County Police Department, officers were called to the marina around 9:15 a.m. after an adult man's body was found floating in the water.
Authorities recovered the body and pronounced the man dead around 2:40 p.m, police said.
