COVID-19 Mobile Vaccine Unit Comes To Freeport

FREEPORT, NY — With the overwhelming majority of COVID-19 hospitalizations from people who are not vaccinated, the Town of Hempstead has scheduled another week of its "Vaxmobile" for residents.

On Tuesday, the mobile unit will appear at Freeport High School from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The town's Vaxmobile is run with the cooperation of Mount Sinai South Nassau.

Walk-ups are permitted, but appointments are encouraged.
