Four Nassau Men Arrested As Part Of ICE Roundup Of Sex Offenders
BREAKING: The men, all undocumented immigrants, face deportation.

Four men living in Nassau County were arrested as part of a roundup of sex offenders by officers of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), the agency announced this week.
The four were arrested during what the agency called "normal targeted enforcement activities." They were among eight people arrested in New York City and Long Island with past convictions for sex offenses. Each is currently in custody pending deportation proceedings.
"[Enforcement and Removal Operations] officers are out there every day enforcing immigration law with targeted enforcement actions," said Thomas R. Decker, field office director for New York. "These actions focus our resources on the most egregious offenders and promote public safety in the communities in which we live and work. Being able to note the accomplishments of our day-to-day enforcement activities, outside of operations, highlights ICE’s constant commitment to make our communities safer."
