Freeport HS Hosts German Exchange Students
The 18 students spent a week in Freeport learning about America and having fun.
From Freeport Public Schools: As part of a 10-year annual tradition, students at Freeport High School hosted foreign exchange students and led them through a variety of fun and educational activities during their stay.
The 18 exchange students, visiting from Germany for the seven-day program, accompanied the Freeport students to their classes during the day and to different landmarks during the evenings and on the weekend. As members of the host families, the Freeport students learned about the German culture and how to guide their new acquaintances through daily routines in a country new to them.
