FREEPORT, NY — A Freeport man instantly became a millionaire. Jose Almazan claimed the $5 million top prize in the New York Lottery’s 100X scratch-off game.
The winning ticket was purchased at the Lucky 7 Food Market located at North Main St. in Freeport.
He chose a single lump-sum payout of $3,255,000 after required withholdings.
