Freeport Residents Get Vaccine Priority With Mobile Unit
The Friday event is scheduled to take place at the De La Salle School.
FREEPORT, NY — The opportunities to get vaccinated for COVID-19 are stepping up. On Friday, Mt. Sinai South Nassau is set to wheel the Vaxmobile to the De La Salle School in Freeport.
Those needing the shot have the walk-up option, but the Town of Hempstead, which is co-sponsoring the event, says supply is limited.
Otherwise, residents can schedule an appointment to ensure their place on the line.
