Heroin Overdose Leads to Arrest of Two Dealers: Police
BREAKING: Detectives say the non-fatal overdose led them to the victim's suppliers.

Two Nassau men were arrested in Freeport Wednesday night after a heroin overdose led them to the victim's drug dealers, police said.
According to detectives, the Narcotics Vice Squad, after an investigation into a non-fatal heroin overdose in Freeport, were able to obtain information leading to the identity of the overdose victim's dealer. Contact was made and a meeting at an undisclosed location in Freeport was conducted between undercover detectives and the dealer to obtain a quantity of heroin at 7:30 p.m.
As a result of the meeting, Anthony Fore, 29, of Fenimore Avenue in Uniondale, and Hyson Mency, 40, of Sycamore Avenue in Hempstead, were arrested. Detectives say they recovered 66 glassine envelopes containing heroin, a black plastic bag containing a quantity of cocaine and a clear bag containing a quantity of crack cocaine from the two.

Fore is charged with three counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance. Mency is charged with three counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Both were arraigned in First District Court in Hempstead on Thursday.
