New York, New York - 100 Black Men of Eastern New York, Inc. continues to play a transformative role in shaping future generations through mentorship, education, economic empowerment, and leadership development. As part of the national 100 Black Men of America, Inc. network, the Eastern New York chapter has established itself as a leading force in preparing young people particularly young men of color to become productive, responsible, and engaged members of society.

For future generations, the organization represents more than mentorship it represents access, opportunity, and exposure. Through structured mentoring, college and career readiness programs, financial literacy education, health and wellness initiatives, and leadership development, the organization is helping to close opportunity gaps and build a strong pipeline of future professionals, entrepreneurs, and community leaders.

The organization’s work is rooted in the belief that “what they see is what they’ll be.” ®emphasizing the importance of positive role models and consistent guidance.

·Setting the goal to Mentor hundreds of young men and students throughout Eastern New York through structured, year-round mentoring programs.

·Working to provide scholarships to graduating high school students to support college access and completion.

·Hosted leadership development conferences and youth summits focused on education, entrepreneurship, and career exposure.

·Looking to partner with schools, community organizations, and businesses to expand opportunities for youth and small business development.

·Playing a vital role leadership role within the national 100 Black Men of America, Inc. network and contributing to regional and national mentoring initiatives.

·Supported health and wellness initiatives to raise awareness about health disparities and promote healthier communities.

A Legacy That Extends Beyond Today

The true meaning of the 100 Black Men of Eastern New York, Inc. to future generations lies in its long-term impact. Many mentees of the program go on to become college graduates, professionals, business owners, and mentors themselves creating a cycle of leadership and community responsibility that extends far beyond a single generation.

As the organization continues to grow, its focus remains on its four pillars: Mentoring, Education, Health & Wellness, and Economic Empowerment. All four pillars of our mission require us to exercise leadership in each of these areas to effectively carry out our mission. These pillars serve as the foundation for building stronger communities and ensuring that future generations are equipped with the skills, confidence, and network needed to succeed.

Founded in New York City in 1963, the organization has grown into one of the nation’s most respected mentoring and leadership development organizations, with more than 100 chapters and over 10,000 members impacting more than 100,000 youth annually.
