Man Stole Nearly $2,000 Of Food From Restaurant

Police say the man fled on foot with bags of expensive food. Do you know who he is?

Nassau police are searching for a man who stole nearly $2,000 worth of food from a Freeport restaurant late last month.

Police say that on June 30 at 5:45 a.m., the man pictured above broke into The Dominican Restaurant, located at 178 North Main St. He stole assorted meats and produce worth $1,900 from the refrigerator. He fled on foot on East Milton Street heading east.

Police ask anyone who knows the identity of the man, or who has any information about the crime, to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS (8477). All callers will remain anonymous, and you could receive a cash reward if your tip leads to an arrest.
