Muggers In Nassau Break Victim's Leg During Knifepoint Robbery
Police say the two muggers chased the man down and tackled him, then pulled a knife and demanded money from him.

Two muggers tackled a man and broke is leg in an effort to rob him in Freeport early Sunday morning, Nassau police said.
According to police, the 20-year-old man was walking on Rutland road around 2:30 a.m. when two other men began to run toward him. The man tried to run away, but one of the robbers tackled him, breaking his leg in the process. The robber pulled out a knife and demanded money from the man. When the man said he didn't have any, the two robbers grabbed his headphones and ran off south on Rutland road.
The first man was in his early 20s, 5 feet, 9 inches tall, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a black face mask and square-framed eyeglasses. the second man was also in his early 20s, 5 feet, 10 inches tall, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and a white face mask.
