"Our membership campaign is about bringing together entrepreneurs and business leaders who believe in economic empowerment, business growth, and creating opportunities for all. By joining the Chamber, members become part of a collective voice that advocates for the success of minority-owned and small businesses throughout New York City and beyond."

Building an Economic Bridge Between New York City and Long Island

A central focus of the Chamber's membership campaign is strengthening business relationships between New York City and Long Island. As two of the most influential economic regions in the nation, New York City and Long Island share deep connections through commerce, workforce development, supply chains, procurement opportunities, and consumer markets.

The Chamber believes that fostering stronger business-to-business relationships between the five boroughs and Nassau and Suffolk Counties can create new opportunities for growth, innovation, and economic development throughout the region.

"New York City and Long Island share an economic relationship that impacts millions of residents and thousands of businesses every day," said Rose Ward. "By creating stronger connections between entrepreneurs in both markets, we can open doors to new partnerships, increase access to contracts and capital, and help minority-owned businesses scale beyond their local communities. This Chamber is uniquely positioned to serve as a bridge between these two powerful economic regions."

"The future of small business growth depends on collaboration," said Ann Dumay, Nassau County Director for the Long Island African American Chamber of Commerce, Inc.. "When New York City businesses and Long Island businesses work together, they create opportunities that neither market can achieve alone. Through networking, strategic partnerships, and shared resources, we can help entrepreneurs expand their reach, create jobs, and contribute to a stronger regional economy."
