Nassau Man Charged In String Of Burglaries: Police
Police say he committed eight burglaries in October, often breaking into multiple businesses in the same day.

A Freeport man was arrested by Nassau Police on Wednesday after police say they linked him to numerous burglaries over the last month.
According to police, Stephan Tirado, 27, of St. Marks Avenue, was at 9:25 p.m. Wednesday in Hempstead after a police investigation identified him as the man responsible for numerous burglaries in Hicksville, Westbury, East Garden City and Carle Place in October. Police say he pried open rear doors or windows and stole property, including food, cash and other business-related property.

Tirado is charged with eight counts of third-degree burglary and two counts of attempted third-degree burglary. He is scheduled to be arraigned in First District Court in Hempstead on Thursday.
