Nassau Police Searching For Missing Woman

She left her house on foot Tuesday night and hasn't been seen since. The police are asking for the public's help to find her.

Nassau police are searching for a missing Freeport woman who was last seen leaving her home Tuesday night.

According to police, Natalie Nelson, 29, was last seen leaving her home on Dean Street at 9 p.m., heading in an unknown direction on foot. Her destination is unknown. She suffers from a cognitive disorder.

Nelson is a black woman, 5 feet, 4 inches tall, 110 pounds, wearing a white T-shirt, green pants and black boots.

Police ask that anyone with any information on Nelson's whereabouts contact the Nassau County Missing Persons Squad at 516-573-7347, or call 911. All callers will remain anonymous.
