Nassau Teens Robbed A Man In His Car: Police

Police say the two came up with a plan to lure out the 24-year-old victim and then rob him.

Two Nassau teens were arrested on Monday after police say they lured out a man and then robbed him in his car in Freeport.

According to police, (removed), made arrangements on social media to meet a 24-year-old man on Sunday night. Police say that (removed) got into the man's car and the two drove to a convenience store at 223 West Merrick Road in Freeport for a drink. The man got out of the car and went into the store. When he was out of sight, police say that (removed) opened the car and allowed Shawn Ulloa, 19, of Solomon Avenue, Inwood, into the back seat, where he hid.

When the man got back into the car, Ulloa sat up, put his hand around the man's face and threatened him with a knife, police said. He demanded that he give (removed) his money, keys and cell phone, police said. The man gave over the items, and then (removed) and Ulloa fled on foot, police said.

A police investigation led to both (removed) and Ulloa being arrested at Ulloa's home in Inwood just before midnight on Monday. Both are charged with first- and second-degree robbery. In addition, Ulloa is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and possession of a dangerous weapon. The two are scheduled to be arraigned in First District Court in Hempstead on Tuesday.
