Police Searching for Missing 90-Year-Old Woman With Alzheimer's

Nassau police are searching for a missing woman with Alzheimer's who was last seen leaving her church in Freeport on Friday afternoon.

According to detectives, Ligia Aricapa, 90, was last seen leaving Our Holy Redeemer Church, located at 37 S. Ocean Avenue, Freeport, on foot in unknown direction at 12:47 p.m. She is 5 feet, 2 inches tall, weighing 120 pounds with brown eyes and grey hair. She suffers from Alzheimer's and may be lost and confused. Aricapa only speaks Spanish.
