Students Connect with Mentors in Uplifting Event Centered on Leadership, Character and Growth
Roosevelt High School proudly hosted its inaugural Men’s Brunch on May 30th, organized through the school’s My Brother’s Keeper program and themed “The Return of the Classic Man.” The event brought together students, mentors, families and community members for an uplifting morning centered on leadership, character development and the importance of positive role models.
The brunch featured a series of inspiring speeches, interactive leadership activities and team-building games designed to strengthen confidence, collaboration and personal growth among students. Attendees engaged in meaningful dialogue and shared experiences aimed at reinforcing the value of mentorship and community support.
“Events such as our Men’s Brunch reflect the heart of our mission as a district—building strong, confident young people who are prepared to lead with integrity and purpose,” said Superintendent of Schools Dr. Shawn Wightman
