Three Superb Freeport Singers Earn All-State Distinction

Three Freeport High School Select Chorale members have earned the honor of representing Freeport Public School District at the annual New York State School Music Association Winter Conference in Rochester on Dec. 1-4.

The three standout vocalists — Melissa Alvarez, Michael Desir and Christina Morris — are also officers of the school’s Select Chorale, led by Director Monique Retzlaff. Morris is president, Desir is vice president and Alvarez is librarian.
