FREEPORT, NY — While Long Island has some of the highest vaccination rates, not everyone has received the COVID-19 vaccine.

The Town of Hempstead is bringing its "Vaxmobile" to Freeport High School Thursday. It will be available from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

While walk-ups are permitted, scheduling in advance is preferred due to a limited supply, the Town of Hempstead said on its website.
