Two NYC Men Arrested For Stealing Letters From A Mailbox: Police
The two were trying to fish letters out of a mailbox in front of the post office, police say.

Two men from New York city were arrested early Friday morning after police say they were caught stealing letters from a mailbox outside the Freeport Post Office.
Police said that Kelvin Garcia, 19, of Kingsborough, Brooklyn, and Marcos Camue, 18, of East 241 Street, the Bronx, were seen using a "fishing" tool to steal letters from a mailbox outside the post office. The two were placed under arrest at 2:35 a.m. and the stolen letters were recovered.
Garcia and Camue are both charged with four counts of first-degree criminal tampering, four counts of petty larceny, possession of burglary tools and third-degree unlawful possession of personal identification. They were both arraigned on Friday in First District Court in Hempstead.
