Man Arrested After Deadly Road Rage Crash: Police
Police say an incident of road rage led to the death of one person and another being seriously injured.
UPDATE, 7:20 P.M.: Police announced that they have arrested a Valley Stream man in connection with the crash.
Police say that Dana King Jr., 23, of Abermarle Avenue, Valley Stream, was arrested at the crash site after an investigation at the scene. Police say that King was driving the Audi involved in the crash.
King was taken to a hospital after his arrest for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries that he sustained in the crash.

He is charged with second-degree manslaughter, and will be arraigned when medically practical.
Police say the identity of the person who died is being withheld.

UPDATE, 12 P.M.: Nassau Police say that one person was seriously injured and another killed in the crash.
According to police, the driver of a 2009 Audi began to follow a 2007 BMW after an argument that began in Valley Stream. While heading north on Baldwin Road in Hempstead, police say the Audi hit the rear of the BMW, causing it to strike a tree. The Audi then struck an unoccupied, parked taxi cab.
Hempstead Police responded to the scene and took the female passenger of the BMW to a nearby hospital, where she is listed in critical but stable condition. The male driver of the BMW was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Audi, a 23-year-old man, was arrested. Police say the investigation is ongoing.
ORIGINAL STORY: One person is dead and one has been arrested after a multi-car crash in Hempstead early Tuesday morning.
According to News 12, the accident occurred just after midnight at the intersection of Acadia Avenue and Baldwin Road. The accident left at least one person dead.
Police closed a large stretch of Baldwin Road for hours to investigate.
According to reports from the scene, police arrested a 23-year-old driver in connection with the crash, which they say started as a high-speed chase through many towns.
