UPDATE: 16-Year-Old Nassau Boy Shot in Head Dies
Police have also identified the teen. The search is still on for two males who fled the shooting scene on bicycles.

UPDATE Friday 9 p.m.- The teen who was shot, Alexon Moya, of Uniondale, died from his injuries at 7 p.m. Friday at Nassau University Medical Center, police said.
UNIONDALE, NY – A 16-year-old boy is in critical condition after being shot in the head late Tuesday night, Nassau Police said.
It happened on Feinmore Avenue at about 11:27 p.m., police said.

The victim was standing on the road, near Braxton Avenue with two or three other people according to a Newsday report, when he was shot, police said.
Two males fled the scene on bicycles in an unknown direction, police said. It's unclear how many shots were fired.

The victim was transported to an area hospital, where he is listed in critical condition.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
