18-Year-Old in 'Extremely Critical Condition' After Being Struck by Car in Uniondale
The accident occurred Tuesday night near Nassau Community College and Hofstra University.

A teen is in “extremely critical condition” after he was struck by a car in Uniondale near Nassau Community College and Hofstra University on Tuesday night.
According to police, a 19-year-old male was driving a 2013 Infiniti G37 north on Earle Ovington Boulevard when his vehicle struck an 18-year-old male, who was attempting to cross the road at Charles Lindbergh Boulevard at 9:18 p.m.
The 18-year-old suffered head trauma and was taken to a local hospital, where he is listed in extremely critical condition, police said.

The driver was not injured. Police did not identify either person involved in the accident.
Police said there was “no apparent criminality at this time,” in the crash.
