23-Year-Old Killed In Crash On Northern State Parkway: Police
The man was pronounced dead at the scene of a weekend crash, police said.
NORTH HEMPSTEAD, NY — A 23-year-old Freeport man died over the weekend in a North Hempstead crash, according to police.
Authorities were notified around 10:30 a.m. Saturday of the incident on the eastbound Northern State Parkway near Exit 29, state police said. Erik Jimenez-Villeda was driving a 2011 Toyota Sienna that left the road, went down an embankment and hit a tree, causing the van to overturn, according to police. He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
