4 People Displaced After Garden City House Fire: NCFM
Fire marshals say approximately 60 firefighters were on scene battling the fire.
GARDEN CITY, NY — A fire in a Garden City home on Saturday afternoon has left four people displaced, fire marshals said.
The Garden City Fire Department responded to the 2-story home on Hathaway Drive with a fire in the basement, Nassau County Fire Marshal's Office said.
Fire marshals said the fire was brought under control within 30 minutes with approximately 60 firefighters on scene, and no injuries were reported.

GCFD was assisted by neighboring fire departments from Garden City Park, Stewart Manor, Elmont, Franklin Square, and West Hempstead– all operations were under the command of Chief Parrella of the GCFD, fire marshals said.
The fire is under investigation by the NCFM and the NCPD Arson/Bomb Squad.
