Adelphi Honors Garden City High School Students with 2014 Prize for Leadership
Twelve high school students from Garden City were honored by Adelphi for outstanding public service, academic excellence and leadership.

Adelphi University honored twelve exceptional high school students from Garden City at the University’s annual Prize for Leadership ceremony. The Prize for Leadership recognizes high school students who reside in Garden City for their outstanding public service, academic excellence and volunteer leadership as club officers, athletes, tutors, volunteers, and performers.
A reception was held in the Adelphi University Performing Arts Center (AUPAC), where they each were presented with a $1,000 stipend, two tuition free courses at Adelphi, and a commemorative clock. They also will be invited to attend cultural events featuring visiting scholars, artists, and political figures during the 2014-2015 academic year.
