Advances in care, Cholesterol and Heart Disease

FREE EVENT - TALK ABOUT YOUR HEALTH

The Adelphi University Pre-Professional Club is sponsoring a discussion on heart disease-related issues, Thursday, April 17, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. in Science Building room 321. This free presentation is open to the public, students and anyone interested in the subject. Henry N. Ginsberg, M.D., Endocrinologist, will discuss the controversy surrounding the treatment of diabetes, high cholesterol and prevention of heart disease.

Dr. Ginsberg is the Irving Professor of Medicine and Director, Irving Institute for Clinical and Translational Research at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons.

The Adelphi University Pre-Professional Club welcomes students that are interested in meeting mentors based on their career interest. Professionals from varied backgrounds give talks on their industry, tips on graduate school entrance exams and information on internships.
