Amy and Neil McGoldrick of Garden City have designated their very generous $250,000 pledge to subsidize the expeditious return, restoration, and re-installation of the St. Paul’s School Chapel’s historic stained glass windows in the name of their beloved parents.
Accepting the $250,000 McGoldrick pledge on behalf of the Conservancy, Susan Lucci said, “Garden City is my hometown. I grew up here and my husband and I raised our children here as well. I am so proud to support the work of the St. Paul's Conservancy. St. Paul's School has been part of Garden City's history, and I am honored to have been named Co-Chair. The generous McGoldrick pledge helps the property become a thriving part of our village's future."
Anders Lee said, “Susan and I are thrilled by the McGoldrick pledge. It is my honor to be a Co-Chair for the St. Paul’s Conservancy. Having lived in Garden City for more than 10 years, I look forward to helping the Conservancy raise the necessary funds to protect, preserve, and restore this important historical building.”
The St. Paul’s Conservancy was qualified by the IRS as a 501c3 organization in 2006 making all donations fully tax deductible.
The Conservancy’s Mission is to assist the Village Trustees to preserve St. Paul’s School, which has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1978. The Conservancy seeks to ensure this landmark continues to honor our Village’s past, support current community needs, and create opportunities for future residents.
