UNIONDALE, NY — Police announced that lanes had been reopened on the westbound side of the Hempstead Turnpike Wednesday afternoon following a crash near the intersection of the turnpike and Glenn Curtiss Boulevard.
Police said Wednesday morning that the crash had been called in at 10:45 a.m., with photos taken at the crash scene showing a Toyota sedan overturned and a BMW with a dented front bumper.
Police did not report injuries or arrests related to the crash when announcing the reopening, saying only that all lanes were open.
