UNIONDALE, NY — All lanes are closed on the Westbound side of the Hempstead Turnpike Wednesday after a crash near the intersection of the Turnpike and Glenn Curtiss Boulevard, police said.
Police said Wednesday morning that the crash had been called in at 10:45 a.m., with photos taken at the crash scene showing a Toyota sedan overturned and a BMW with a dented front bumper.
Wednesday afternoon, police confirmed that all lanes were closed between Glenn Curtiss Boulevard and James Doolittle Boulevard due to the crash.
