GARDEN CITY, NY — Garden City Public Schools began classes on Tuesday, welcoming not only students, but new educators as well.
Before teachers lined the hallways across the district, they took part in the district's new teacher orientation from August 18 to 20.

The orientation helped new staff members meet each other, learn more about the district, and prepare for the school year. They participated in workshops and a bus tour to learn more about the school and community.
