Investigators compared online images, including scraped sex ads, to photos of missing youths, with New York State agencies and the National Child Protection Task Force coordinating the effort.
• Babylon Man Pleads Guilty to Fatal Hit-and-Run in Freeport (longisland.com) — Garden City residents should know their local police department helped Nassau prosecutors secure a guilty plea in a fatal March hit‑and‑run in Freeport that killed a 66‑year‑old pedestrian.
