Motorcyclist In Critical Condition After Hempstead Collision: Police

HEMPSTEAD, NY — A man is in critical condition after a collision involving a motorcycle in Hempstead on Friday night, Nassau County police said.

Police said a 23-year-old man was riding a 2007 Kawasaki motorcycle westbound near Fulton Avenue when he was involved in a collision with a 2016 Kia driven by a 22-year-old woman at 9:12 p.m.

He was taken to a local hospital where he is in critical condition, and the woman was transported with minor injuries, police said.
