Rosamunde Pilcher’s novel Winter Solstice will be the selection for The Friends of The Garden City Public Library book discussion on Wednesday, Dec. 7 at 10 a.m.
The discussion will be moderated by Gloria Weinrich.
Popular novelist Rosamunde Pilcher, who is a master at depicting English life, tells the story of five very different people who come together and are forever changed at a rundown estate house in Northern Scotland during a winter solstice.
This book discussion will take place in the library’s small meeting room on the lower level and is limited to 20 participants. No registration is necessary. Copies of the book are available at the Reference Desk in the library.
